Confederation College is committed
to ensuring the best possible education for our learners. We believe
and support the need to integrate academic studies with valid work
experiences. Work Placement is defined as a hands-on learning process
whereby academic study terms are alternated with work periods of career
related experience. A work placement can take place as a:
- Co-operative Education Work
Placement -- a mandatory/optional component of a program for
which the student is paid. A co-op work term usually lasts an
entire semester. The student works full-time and does not attend
classes.
